Aw, I wicked heart John Legend. Thanks for the reminder to vote!
brookem- I suppose no one there NEEDS the reminder, but I thought John Legend was too nice not to put up. Then it felt weird just putting up a random youtube clip, so I thought I would tie it all together, in a nice political bow.
i’m so into this video right now. i’ve seen it many times already and yet i keep watching it!
vote!
Wow, like minds I guess.
A friend posted this up for a Music Monday post. Very cool.
I just saw this on my brilliant friend beckyloooo who’s been campaigning her ass of, if I may share her link with you?

Yep GMTA – I posted this on my blog yesterday am after I saw it on DailyKos. Watched it about 5 times and I keep humming the melody to it. I mailed in my ballot for Obama two weeks ago and I’ve recruited a few voters for tomorrow :->
I must have listened to this a billion times yesterday. Thanks for reminding me to listen to it today, too :)
I heart Will.i.am :)
John Legend is pretty dreamy. If that doesn’t encourage people to get out and vote, I don’t know what will :)
Too bad you don’t live in ATL..both were here yesterday, Legend into’ing Obama at Spellman (didn’t see Rudi Hux. anywhere…)
I love this so much that I watched it a second time (the first time was over at Sprizee’s).
Good stuff…unfortunately the state where I live does not have any voting tomorrow. There is a caucus on Saturday (which I’m thinking about attending if auditions for On Golden Pond (which I’m stage managing) get over early enough) and primaries are in May. I hate my state sometimes.
Oh, and I keep meaning to email you a story about this dude that came up to my friend and me while talking about politics last week. It was tres strange.
This video is amazing. I may just borrow it for my reminder to vote tomorrow.
Mmmm, John Legend. He makes me quiver.
I don’t vote for an extra week. By which time it may or may not matter. But I’ll vote anyway.
Max got home from a 10 day trip in Brazil today and the first thing I made him watch was Obama’s South Carolina speech. It was too amazing for him to miss. Second thing I made Max watch–the video you just posted.I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a Super Tuesday upset.
I will be voting…and then staying up until 3am watching post election coverage, debate and analysis on CNN and MSNBC. I shoot you an email to get your thoughts.
I love this video. I can’t vote until March. I’ll be watching CNN all night tomorrow.
I love this video.
That was awesome! Now, I can’t wait to vote…)
You are such a noble and dedicated little Canadian…
I hope you posted some sweet youtube clips from the Canadian election, like Kardinal Offishall’s official endorsement of someone.
I think you should know that sometimes, at random times during the day, I think to myself “I wish some people I knew cared as much about this election as Brandy does.” It is unfathomable to me how they cannot, but they just don’t.
Atta girl – you’re doing more for this years election than all the “vote or die” crap of ’04. And YOURE Canadian!
Mmm…I had no idea who that guy with the great voice was. John Legend? Meet your new fan for life.
I was out of town on Tuesday for California’s election but, amazingly, I actually remembered to send in my absentee ballot on time. Don’t worry, I’m usually not nearly so on top of things…
