“Okay, look. I know you got a crocodile in spelling but this has gone too far.”

1. I love the above image and the message it gives. Because seriously, who hasn’t been there? The second the choice is given to someone else, or you know a coin- you gain the clarity you need to realize what you wanted all along. High-five, Universe. And yes, that’s as deep as I’m going to get on Sunday morning.

2. Stomach bug + vacation time = FINALLY WATCHING “ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT”. I KNOW. I KNOW. It’s like, someone just introduced me to what humor is. I just finished the first season and am alternating between thinking I want to rush through the remaining episodes and chance dying of laughter or I want to ration each episode and savor it like a dessert I know I will never have again. I THINK THIS REQUIRES A COIN FLIP. Also? It’s abusive to be friends with someone and not force them to watch this if they haven’t seen it. It’s like, squandering genius. Unacceptable. So here’s your PSA – IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, GO NOW TO NETFLIX AND START A MAGICAL JOURNEY OF HAPPINESS WHICH WILL INCLUDE THE PHRASE ‘NEVERNUDE’.

3. A friend commented the other day that my posts seem to fluctuate between “HERE IS EVERY SINGLE THING HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN MY WORLD, PLEASE WEIGH IN” and random lists. And? She’s 100% right. I’m still working everything out in my heart head, so please bear with me. In the meantime, thank and I have to give a shout out to Garnet and what she’s doing. Please donate if you can.

(Also, I’m going to be annoying and mention it again. Because it took me a long time to do. And anything that takes me a long time to do, I brag about forever. Like, in the 4th grade I started a paint-by-numbers picture and it took me months to do it. I still talk about how pretty that goose was. ANYWAY. I updated my ‘links’ page. Check it out!)

  • Aw, thanks for the link love! From the fiveblondes. :)

  • I used to make decisions that way ALL the time. Instead of flipping a coin, I’d pass the decision over to a friend and he would tell me what I wanted. Often, my response was “no, I want the other thing,” and then I would know. I should start making decisions like that again.

  • Arrested Development is the BEST SHOW EVER.

  • Love that poster. Loved it so much I put it on pinterest. Thanks for sharing!

  • This is why I have a magic 8 ball app on my phone. If I find myself arguing with it’s decision, I definitely know which way I’m leaning!

I might have used it to decide about BiSC.

  • Hey there!

I have finished watching the measly three seasons of Arrested Development, about a few days ago. It’s easily one of the best comedies! They are a dysfunctional family that proves to be really, totally, mind-blowing dysfunctional as the show progresses – as if you think they would all straighten up. It’s sad that not a lot of people appreciated the show’s humor! I think I have developed a crush for Portia De Rossi, with her beautiful head of hair.

Randomness is awesome. I like the way you blog.

  • Also watch out in Season 3 where Lindsay, Father and Mother Bluth will do their best chicken imitation. You will no doubt triple your laughter.

  • Amy

We just discovered Arrested Development a couple weeks ago on Netflix too and it’s wonderful. I can’t believe we’re just catching on now to the wonder that is the Nevernude and every time I see Buster thrusting and making eyes at Lucille I die laughing.

  • Truth. Hearing someone else’s opinion always lets me know how I truly feel about something.

Also, I need it to be May and no school so I can spend my days off watching Arrested Development. After the West Wing of course…

Also, also I love your gigantic heart.

  • [...] saw this image posted over at It’s Like I’m… Mmmagic yesterday, and it really [...]

  • Fact: That is the way I make just about every single decision.
    I love that image.
Fact 2: I have yet to see Arrested Development, The West Wing, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Friday Night Lights or It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, apparently these admissions makes me The Least Television Cultured Person on The Internet.

I wear my crown with shame and a false sense of pride.
But, I’m pretty jazzed about this septer.

  • Arrested Development is the maybe the best show in the history of ever.
